I’d love to get back to Paris - this sort of “ordinary” quaint is just so unusual coming from Australia and NZ where anything over 100 years old is “ancient” lOL

Lol, I never realized that before. This numerous messages are so normal for me. I also like that we can “breath” the French history in our cities. If you visit the towers of Notre Dame de Paris, you can see on the wall a name of one of the men who build it and the date of the day he engraves that in the stone. I think he never believed we’ll visit it several centuries after.

Thank you for the Christmas trip through France. I will probably never get there but my ancestors (Monternauds)had a castle there in the 17th century. I especially enjoy your French, now I can share it with my granddaughter, who is studying in Virginia.

I love reading about your travels, I had a pretty crazy backpacking trip in Europe 2 summers ago where I came home pregnant! Oops! I guess I’ll always have Paris.

I saw the title and thought it was a typo and should have been laundry is nice, then I saw you meant Nice, France…hehe! that picture really captures all of what I imagine of the charm of France….

Expat Mum- Completely agree! You can’t please everyone, so you may as well just do what makes you happy.
