Great post. I can totally empathise with you on this. I left Ireland 5 years ago in April and still get the "when are you coming home?" question. I have even told my parents I will most probably never come back, but they still persist with the "oh a house just went for sale a few doors down!" Home for me is wherever I am and it has been Iceland for the last 4 years, who knows where it will be in the future. I agree that some people may want reassurance that they are living their life right. I can't count how many school friends I have re-connected with on various social networking sites who have said the usual, "I would love to travel, but.." But nothing, if you want to do it, do it!
